Drones for nature research
From the air we survey large or hard-to-reach nature areas without entering them. With ordinary, multispectral and thermal cameras we map vegetation, structure and even animals — efficiently and with minimal disturbance.
A thermal camera reveals animals by their body heat, even in tall grass or at dusk, which makes counts more objective and complete.
Applications
- Habitat and vegetation mapping
- Wildlife counts with a thermal camera (e.g. deer, geese)
- Detection of nests and burrows
- Monitoring of nature restoration and management
- Inventory before works (duty of care)
A responsible approach
We adapt flight height, route and timing to the species and the season to avoid disturbance, and respect the rules in force in nature areas.
What you receive
- Habitat and vegetation maps
- Count results with localised observations
